Official New Year's resolutions

  1. Recommit myself fully to writing & doing more research.
  2. Try to be happier.
  3. Lose the fifty lbs. and get back 200 (thank god I'm tall).
  4. Look into the Art Institute Online and return emails/calls from their Game Design program director. Game Design & Animation would compliment my soul nicely and open even more doors to a career, not a job. This could be a good stepping stone for my pulp novels/comics to be.
  5. Replace my PS2, Xbox and the games I've sold.
  6. Get back to collecting DC Comics. I've slacked off a lot. Realizing that individual issues would be too expensive, I think collecting trade paperbacks would be easier on the wallet.
  7. Replace my AlphaSmart NEO word processor with the Dana.
  8. Try to find John D.'s email address and work him about setting up a goth rock night at Valentine's. Their EBM night is just... Well, they let ppl. 18 and up in. That's reason alone.
  9. Try to be less bitter.
  10. Work on the pitch to Dynamite Comics and Moonstone Books for the Red Phantom (golden age/pulp horror & adventure), Blue Spider (silver age/cold war), Avenging Skull (golden age/pulp adventure), the Black Rook (silver age/cold war)
  11. Take another online class at the Gotham Writers' Workshop in Sci-Fi and/or Horror, Adventure, Espionage.
  12. Try to be less catty, vindictive, negative.
  13. Get a new computer for when I decide to attend the Art Institute Online (I was going to get one anyway but with a new PC, I can run some of the more powerful graphic programs). Why AI? Well way back when I started working with Photoshop, someone from that school branch in San Fran saw my stuff on ArtWanted.com and wanted me to enroll. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funding to pack up and move out west. Imagine my surprise when I got contacted by them a few weeks ago. Turns out they kept my file on record and still want me to attend. Maybe I should look into grants and the like again. Could offset the cost of the school fees, etc.
  14. Get organized with my bills again.
  15. Be more aggressive in getting web/graphic design jobs.
  16. Be happier.
